Cello Unit 6

• Beyond the core pedagogical concepts of Suzuki Book 6, this course will also explore strategies for character building and effective remedial approaches for transfer students, helping teachers guide students with diverse learning backgrounds.

• We will discuss practical ways to achieve both effectiveness and efficiency in a one-hour lesson, ensuring that all essential techniques of Book 5 are addressed without overwhelming the student.

• Teacher participants are encouraged to bring their own teaching video clips to enrich course discussions, allowing us to analyze real teaching situations and share constructive insights together.

• The course will also present creative multi-level group lesson ideas for Book 6, helping teachers design engaging group classes that support both musical growth and peer learning.
