Build upon the foundation students built in Book 1. Explore the following topics:

– Expanded bow strokes, including preparation for colle’

– Expanded left-hand whole/half-step patterns

– Dynamics and sound color through bow speed and bow distribution

– Beginning shifting

– Preparation for vibrato

– Note reading
