Presented with dual-delivery (Some take course fully online, some take it fully in-person).

Prerequisites:

  • Violin Intermediate or Comprehensive Audition
  • Violin/Viola Unit 1 (or Foundation 1A and 1B)
  • Violin/Viola Unit 2
  • Violin Unit 3

The class will cover all aspects of violin technique related to Suzuki Violin Book 5 including tonalization, vibrato, shifting, as well as the repertoire and supplemental pieces appropriate to the level.

Additional scale and etude studies will be addressed.

This class will meet on Wednesday mornings 10:00am - 1:00pm EST.  Observations will be done asynchronously via the website realviolinlessons.com.  A year subscription to the site is included in the tuition for the course.
