The main week of ISM activities for students and parents includes individual lessons in a masterclass setting, group classes, orchestra, jazz, improvisation, Dalcroze, choir, parent conferences and other enrichment activities. ISM features an intensive chamber music session for the more advanced teenager musicians. Institut Suzuki Montreal and the Brandon Summer Suzuki Institute are planning a string quartet exchange, pending SEVEC sponsorship for Canadian students’ air fare. Participants from other countries will be welcome to audition for the exchange but will not be eligible for the SEVEC bursary.
Teacher development classes are offered in accordance with the Suzuki Association of the Americas guidelines.
Please visit our website for more details on activities and additional faculty.
