Casey Mink

Casey Mink enjoys balancing his love for both violin playing and teaching. He won an undergraduate research grant to study at the International Academy of Music, St. Petersburg, Russia, organized and participated in a concert series of solo and chamber music in Beijing and Fujian, China, and was selected to be a violin fellow for the 2014 and 2015 National Orchestral Institute and Festival in College Park, MD.  He taught violin and viola to students of all ages with the Renaissance Music Academy of Virginia and Virginia Tech’s Fine Arts Initiative before venturing to begin his own Suzuki violin program in Rock Hill, SC. Casey holds a Master’s of Music in Performance from Bowling Green State University and performs with the Roanoke Symphony and the South Carolina Philharmonic. Besides playing in orchestras and working with children, Casey loves fly-fishing and reading anything by C.S. Lewis.
