The New England Suzuki Institute inhabits the picturesque campus of Colby College for a week of music making and learning. NESI is committed to offering a comprehensive and quality curriculum for all ages in an atmosphere of individual attention. We offer Pre-Twinkle, Budding Artist, Young Artist and Rising Artist programs for violin, viola, cello, piano and guitar. All students perform in a solo recital. Evening activities include an institute-wide campfire, a talk for parents while students watch a movie, the wildly popular faculty recital, a contra dance with our very own fiddle band, and chamber music, orchestra and group recitals to round out the week. Special teen-specific activities are available each evening. Recreation for all is available at the college athletic center which includes a pool.
