Join us in a week of intense music learning in a nurturing, supportive environment on the campus of University of Portland, overlooking the Willamette River. OSI is an incredible week of community, creativity, and challenge, through music and art.

Dual delivery.

Prerequisites:
ECC or Filosofia
Viola or Violin Units 1-2
Viola or Violin Teaching Strategies
Viola Audition

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box, click “+1”, then click “get tickets”. Follow the process to enroll – you will not be charged any course fees, so proceed without worry.  

There is no confirmation screen, but you will receive an email confirmation after signing up.  Follow the directions in your confirmation email to complete payment.

Additional Scheduling Info

All classes start on Monday and are from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with recitals at 11:15am and 4:30pm. Detailed class schedules will be sent out at the end of May.

Teachers taking teacher training are welcome to observe all classes and participate in parent education and recitals. As well as meals and gatherings with institute faculty. With 250 participants, there are over 135 classes to observe each day!
