Hello, it’s great to have you here! We’re happy to know you’re interested in participating in the  Pre-Star Violin course.

The  Suzuki School of Music in São Paulo  offers training courses for teachers with the aim of promoting the Suzuki Method.
This course is aimed at  violin teachers  who wish  to deepen  and continue their  pedagogical training within the Suzuki Method.  Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the  principles of the method ,  teaching strategies  , and strengthen their practice as  music educators.

To participate, you must have completed Book 1 and be an active member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA).

During the course,  fundamental topics  for taking the first steps as a Suzuki teacher will be covered, including the principles that  guide the beginning of  instrumental study and the  pedagogical strategies  that support the student’s musical development.

The topics covered include the  initial technical steps  on the instrument (pre-star technique),  preparatory exercises ,  strategies, and guidance for studying at home.
