Every Child Can! (ECC!) is a non-instrument specific introduction to Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy and its application to Suzuki education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers, and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning. Teachers of all instruments are welcome.

In addition to exploring the elements of the Suzuki approach and its far-reaching goals, it includes an introduction to learning styles, history of the development of Suzuki education, the role of parents, the importance of Suzuki pedagogical training, and an overview of the SAA’s role in supporting teachers and parents. A fast-paced, engaging and thoughtful program, ECC! includes video materials and SAA-developed materials and provides each participant with useful reference manuals for later study.

For teachers pursuing Suzuki training, ECC! serves as the prerequisite course for all additional training in the Suzuki Association of the Americas’ Teacher Development Program. We also welcome Suzuki parents, administrators, and all those interested in learning more about the Suzuki Method.

The class will be taught via Zoom by Beth Titterington.

Once you are logged in, scroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box, click “+”, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to enter your payment information. 

After getting tickets below, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the SAA with a link to pay the remaining tuition.  This email will also have a link to your Every Child Can! participant manual.
