
The 9th Latin American Suzuki Teachers’ Encuentro will continue the work begun in Peru, with the aim of strengthening our community. Participants will experience three days of integration activities, dialogue, and workshops to plan and organize upcoming international events together (such as the 2nd Suzuki Convention of the Americas and the 4th Suzuki Students’ Meeting of Latin America).
- We will have talks on topics of pedagogical interest, as well as opportunities to share experiences on how the Suzuki movement has grown in different regions, and spaces for innovation that bring Suzuki Philosophy and Methodology to life.
- Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about Ecuadorian culture through artistic performances and short tours of the host institution: INEPE.
- Teachers who wish to participate can also take part in the training courses offered at the 13th International Suzuki Festival Ecuador, which will take place from August 3rd to 16th (for more information about the festival, visit the link: https://forms.gle/UGzPSX9hjypEpjtf7.
Where is the venue for the 9th meeting located?
INEPE (Instituto de Investigación, Educación, y Promoción Popular del Ecuador), the venue for the meeting, is located southwest of Quito, in an area outside the city center, in Chilibulo (location on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rgbMH2bFdNxMtMXC8.
What are the dates and cost of the 9th Meeting?
The meeting will be held on Friday, July 31st, Saturday, August 1st, and Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. The registration fee per participant is $50.
What is the schedule?
The day will be divided into two parts: in the morning, we will begin at 9:00 AM with a short break, followed by lunch at 1:00 PM, and then continue in the afternoon until 5:00 PM.
If I am not a Suzuki teacher, can I participate in the meeting?
Yes, you can participate; however, we recommend that you be prepared to observe that several activities of the meeting will be geared towards teachers who have been involved in the Suzuki community, and be prepared and open to this.

- On the first day of the meeting, participants from countries other than Ecuador will pay the full amount of the meeting fee, and Ecuadorian participants will pay the remaining balance of their first payment. And that’s it!
