Part-Time Suzuki Cello Instructor
Location: Etobicoke (Toronto), ON, Canada
Description: Etobicoke Suzuki Music is an established, highly respected Suzuki music school with comprehensive core and enrichment programs. We are seeking a part-time cello teacher to join our vibrant community.
About Etobicoke Suzuki Music (ESM):
Etobicoke Suzuki Music is a non-profit school founded in 1982. It is recognized as one of the first and finest Suzuki programs in Canada.
At ESM, we want to bring the joy of learning music into the home of every family that we serve. The objective of ESM is to contribute to the community, in partnership with our families, through excellence in music education. In addition to fostering an ongoing appreciation of music, this education seeks to nurture the whole child by developing independence, discipline, and other life skills through the committed study of a musical instrument.
Our programs include violin, viola, and cello, with students ranging from Pre-Twinkle to Book 10 and beyond. We also have an early childhood (SECE) program for infants and toddlers. ESM’s faculty members are professional musicians with university degrees in their disciplines and extensive training in the Suzuki method. We offer funding towards continued professional development.
Etobicoke Suzuki Music is located in a residential neighbourhood in the west end of Toronto, easily accessible from nearby major routes and close to public transportation.
