This is the pre-requisite first course for Suzuki training in Latin America now being offered here online in English!  There are no other pre-requisites to this course, but 100% attendance with the screen “on” is required to receive course completion.

There will be in class synchronous observations through videos and serves as an inspiration in understanding the fundamental principles that underly the Suzuki approach to learning. This is non-instrument specific and is the equivalent of the Every Child Can course with additional content to prepare a successful journey into becoming a Suzuki teacher.

You must be logged in to your SAA account and have Active Membership to join the course roster below. 

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box, click “+”, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to pay the nonrefundable deposit for this course. 

After getting tickets below, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the SAA. You’ll also be able to verify your enrollment on your profile under Upcoming Courses.

Filosofia/Philosophy will meet for 6 Mondays from 9:30am to 1:30 pm Eastern Time. There is no class on April 20th (Patriot's Day in Massachusetts/Boston Marathon Day).

Each participant must attend 100% of class time with their video on in order to be counted as fully completing this course.

Participants who complete this course and take Piano Unit 1 at our Suzuki By The Green 2026 summer institute will receive a $100 discount on their Unit 1 course.
