Suzuki School of Newton hosts the Suzuki By The Green summer institute in its facility at 1615 Beacon Street, Waban MA located on the MBTA public transportation green line at Waban Station.  Located a 5 minute walk from the station, and in the heart of this small commercial center of the City of Newton, SBTG gives a unique opportunity for Suzuki Piano Teachers and Students to mingle and learn with the emphasis solely on piano!

Teaching Strategies participants must have completed ECC or Filosofia and Piano Unit 1.  At least 2 videos of teaching, preferably students in Book 1, of 6-8 minutes should be submitted in advance of the course. This course gives participants the opportunity to hone their skills in Suzuki teaching under the guidance of a Teacher Trainer and get feedback towards improving their Suzuki lessons.

Teaching Strategies is required prior to taking Piano Unit 3.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box, click “+”, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to enter your payment information to pay the nonrefundable deposit fee.
