Modeled after Dr. Suzuki’s summer school, the American Suzuki Institute (ASI) was the first Suzuki Institute held outside of Japan. Since 1971, over 100,000 students and their families have visited Central Wisconsin from all over the world for summer study. ASI is an inspirational and immersive experience for students and teachers alike. Student offerings in 2026 include:
July 19-24 (Week 1): Piano, Violin, Voice SECE
July 26-31 (Week 2): Cello, Harp, Viola, Violin, One-Week Chamber Music, SECE
July 19-31: Two-Week Chamber Music
Optional Electives: Artists’ Imagination, Composer’s Corner, Dance, Fiddling, Taekwondo, Viola for Violinists, and Yoga.
Registration opens in February. Student scholarships are available. Check the ASI website for detailed information on classes, tuition, housing and meal plans, and scholarships.
