Presented in-person.

The OSI Chamber Music Workshop is a 7-day program for string and piano students.

Students will be assigned to an ensemble according to recorded audition, teacher recommendation, and age.

Students will be placed in the Advanced Chamber Program or Introduction to Chamber Music based on their level of playing. Both programs are Saturday-Friday.

Each day of the workshop students will have coached chamber rehearsals, semi-private lessons, repertoire classes, advanced chamber orchestra, chamber music master classes, and sight-reading sessions.

Students are welcome to add an additional enrichment class for their sixth hour to fill their day. Options include Jazz Improvisation, Origami, Dalcroze, and Dance.

Violin/Viola/Cello: Polished piece at Suzuki Book 4 or above.

Piano: Polished piece at Suzuki Book 5 or above.

**All students at levels listed above are welcome. Both advanced and introductory ensembles will be created based on the level of students.

**Students in the Chamber Music Workshop have a full schedule with chamber rehearsals and do not take enrichment classes such as origami, Dalcroze, singing, and jazz improv. While some students prefer to focus on ensemble playing in the chamber workshop, others will enjoy taking a wider variety of enrichment classes along with their master classes, group, and orchestra. Students wanting these enrichment class options should not enroll in the chamber program, but should instead enroll in the Books 4+ track.
