Setting Families Up for Success: New Student Orientation and Ongoing Support Systems for the Studio Teacher

This enrichment course is for Suzuki teachers who want to think deeply about how they approach “parent education” and how they support the families in their studio.  As Suzuki teachers, we know the integral part each family plays in supporting their students’ learning process.

We will explore case studies, best practices, new ideas, and current research as we explore how each teacher wants to implement these ideas in their program.

This 10-hour enrichment course will cover topics including new family orientation systems, parent-teacher conferences, and a framework for supporting families in your program in a way that feels authentic to you and your program’s needs.  Teachers of all instruments are welcome.
