Calling all cellists! After completing Every Child Can, join Alice Ann O’Neill for this eye-opening course. Learn to teach young children and set-up your students for longterm success!

Some of the many benefits of teacher training include:  mentorship, from your teacher trainer and other experienced teachers, ongoing professional development and support throughout your career, and visibility – get connected to prospective students through the SAA’s online directory.

The course fee is $800 CAD.
Price listed at the top and on the tickets is only an approximation.

Eligibility to take a Suzuki Teacher Training course

1. Current SAA membership – link here to register

2. Every Child Can! course completed

3. Audition accepted: All auditions must be submitted no later than 14 days before the start of the course. We recommend 6-8 weeks in advance.  The Audition Fee is ($65 USD).  Go to the Teacher audition guide for more information.

Course Requirements

The SAA requires 28 hours of instruction, and 15 hours observation, with 100% attendance for this course to be recognized as completed.  The 28 hours of instruction are completed during the scheduled course hours, some observation hours will be completed individually by participants outside of course hours.

You must be logged in to your SAA account and have Active Membership to join the course roster.

You will receive an email confirmation after signing up. Follow the directions in your confirmation email to complete payment.
