Violin Unit 1

Prerequisites: 
Active Membership in SAA
Every Child Can!  or Filosofia
A violin or viola audition.

This course will cover all of the Philosophical, technical and musical aspects of Suzuki Violin Method Volume One.  Each participant should own their own original copy of the Suzuki Violin Volume One and the reference recording (Hillary Hahn edition). The course will take place over two weekends (see schedule below).  100% attendance is required to receive the course credential from the SAA.  In addition to the class hours, 15 hours of lesson observation complete the course.  The observation hours will be completed online via realviolinlessons.com Each member of class will receive a personal annual subscription to the video library.
