Taught by Hillary Nordwell, this course offers the foundation for Suzuki Piano Teachers. This extensive course includes insight into the Suzuki philosophy as well as the skills and repertoire taught in Suzuki Piano Book 1. Masterclass observation (of teachers including Caroline Fraser and Hillary Nordwell) is a required part of the course. Audition is required, as well as the Every Child Can! course, prior to participating in the Book 1 Course, and participants are strongly encouraged to memorize all the music of Book 1 prior to the course, in order to reap the greatest benefit.

Un extenso curso que ofrece la base para profesores de piano Suzuki. Incluye información sobre la Filosofía de Suzuki, así como las habilidades y el repertorio que se enseñan en el libro 1 Suzuki. Latin American participants receive a 50% discount on the cost of the course. To receive the discount, please register through the Suzuki Circle website.

College Students and Recent Graduates (within the past 3 years) receive a 25% scholarship toward the cost of attending Suzuki Circle. Please pay in full, then write to Hillary Nordwell (hillary.nordwell@gmail.com) with your mailing address and the name of the institution you are studying at (or graduated from) to receive a guaranteed 25% scholarship from the Suzuki Association of Washington State.
