In unit 5, we will take the foundational skills we learned in Units 1-4 and expand further towards discovering more advanced bow strokes (including spiccato and continuous staccato), developing more bow finger flexibility, experimenting with sound colors, greater intentionality with varying the bow speed, increasing agility , and getting the student ready for youth orchestra, chamber music, and intermediate student concerti.
