Description:
Powers Music School seeks an experienced Suzuki violin instructor to join a collaborative and vibrant Suzuki community teaching students age 3 ½ and up. The Suzuki Program encompasses five violin and guitar teachers with over 70 students.
Duties:
Teach Suzuki private lessons and group classes based on department need. The ideal candidate will be available at least two days a week. – Meet regularly with Suzuki faculty and collaborate for group classes, semester group recitals, and special events – Explore opportunities for program growth
Qualifications:
-Master’s degree in performance, pedagogy, or equivalent work experience in a Suzuki Program. – Documented successful teaching experience. – Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues. – Minimum Suzuki Book 4 certification preferred with commitment to continue training.
Salary:
$50-57/hr.
