Guitar, Piano and violin teachers needed ASAP

Description: We need Violin, Piano and Guitar teachers at our Suzuki Academy in northwest Houston.
Teacher will teach 4 private lessons and one group lesson per month for each students.
VIOLIN Teacher needed to teach Saturday and Sunday 10am-5/6pm (with breaks)

Duties: We are looking for teachers who are willing to teach 3-4 days/ week minimum (4 hours minimum / day)
We are looking for teachers who are really organized and follow fully the Suzuki Philosophy.

Qualifications: Teachers must have a degree in music and have at least Suzuki book 1,2 registered training in their instrument.

Salary: Around $45/ hour ($40-$49)
Contractor position with no benefits.
Teachers are paid during the summer
Teachers have up to 6- 8 weeks holidays a year and they are paid!

Early Childhood Music Instructor

Location: Loma Linda, CA

Description: Loma Linda is a professional community, situated in the largest county in the US, San Bernardino County. The Academy is a K-12 Christian institution with a Children’s Center, serving families with children from twelve weeks to four years old, making it ideal for the development of an ECE program.

Part-Time Strings Instructor at a Classical School

Suzuki string teacher and section player, South Dakota Symphony Orchestra

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Description: The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra (SDSO) seeks entrepreneurial string players (violin, viola, and cello) interested in starting a Suzuki studio in Sioux Falls, SD and playing in the orchestra. The SDSO is leading the effort to add more musicians to its string section and teachers to the area.

Duties: May include: •Play for the SDSO for up to 12 programs per season.
•Teach private lessons—the SDSO will help the player(s) begin a studio through its networks.
•There are other opportunities in Sioux Falls, such as the El Sistema-based Harmony SD (harmonysouthdakota.org), or Avera Head Start.

Qualifications: For SDSO—play a successful audition. The SDSO may invite qualified musicians to play for a concert week beginning in October 2017 and arrange the audition and interviews at that time.
Suzuki registered training in Book 1 or higher advised for supplemental employment, but not required to play in SDSO.

Salary: The SDSO positions are per-service with the rate of $69.39 (rehearsal and concert) with estimated 65 services per season.
The other entities’ pay is based on hours taught and can be negotiated. Potential for $40,000+ annually from teaching lessons and performing with the South Dakota Symphony.

Suzuki Violin/Viola

Suzuki Guitar Teacher

Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Description: The Shenandoah Valley Preparatory Music Program has an immediate opening for a Suzuki guitar teacher for one or more teaching days, to join its well-established Suzuki program (violin, viola, cello, piano and flute).
