DESCRIPTION:This 10-hour pedagogy masterclass is designed to enhance teaching skills in a supportive\, trust-based environment. Rather than focusing on repertoire\, this course centers on how we teach—strengthening observation skills\, refining communication\, and reinforcing the strategies that create meaningful learning moments for students and families. Cost: $450\nIf you register for Books 2-3\, and Teaching Strategies\, the total cost is $900. \n100% attendance and Audition\, ECC\, and Book 1 are prerequisites. \nThis will allow the required Teaching Strategies course (to continue with book 3) to be held Feb 23\, March 23 & 30 and April 27. This is a separate registration. Book 3 follows the Tuesday schedule through May 18. \nRequirements for Book 2 besides 100% attendance are: \n\n1 book report\n1 wrap-up\n8 hours of observation\nthe practical exam\, which is playing the book from memory. Emphasis includes teaching for artistry\, advanced practice strategies\, musical form\, and the connection between sound\, movement\, and imagery. Technical routines embrace a wider variety and the progression of etudes will be discussed. DESCRIPTION:Book 3 cello will be held online April 6\, 13\, 20\, May 4\, 11\, 18 from 8:30 to 11 Chicago Time (CST/CDT).  The cost is $450 unless you register for the package of Book 2\, and 3 and Teaching Strategies ($900). \nPre-Requisites: \n\nEvery Child Can\nCello Units 1 and 2 and Teaching Strategies (offered separately Feb 23\, March 23\, 30\, and April 27)\nAudition\n\nRequirements:  \n\n100% attendance\n1 book report\n1 wrap-up\n8 hours of observation\nthe practical exam which is playing the book from memory.
