Ms. Woosol Cho

Woosol Cho is a Suzuki trained violin teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. She has held teaching positions at The Michel P. Hammond Preparatory Program at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, Sistema Toronto, Orkidstra, and was a guest adjudicator for the prestigious Hong Kong Schools Music Festival in Hong Kong.

Ms. Cho received her Masters of Music degree from Rice University in Houston and is currently completing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Toronto. She frequently performs with orchestras such as the Toronto Symphony, the Hamilton Philharmonic, and the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, and formerly held the position of Principal Viola with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. Her students have been accepted to the Toronto Youth Orchestra, the Ottawa Youth Orchestra, and have received full scholarships to undergraduate music programs at the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario.

Woosol enjoys teaching students of all ages but has a special passion for early childhood music education.
