Tina is a native Philadelphian who has had a successful and fulfilling career in performing arts education since graduating as a piano performance major from The University of the Arts. She is very grateful to her teachers (Louis Kazze, Sylvia Glickman, Donn-Alexandre Feder, Patricia Pavlack and Sheila Paige) who shared their love of music and the piano with her and led her to realize her desire to share it with others. Teaching all ages and levels but specializing in young children, she has had a great number of students go through her Early Childhood Music Programs before studying the piano. Tina has most recently served as a faculty member at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy and Conservatory of Musical Arts while also maintaining her private studio. Currently she is also happy to be on staff as a teaching artist at Darlington Arts Center. She is passionate about encouraging students to express themselves and helping them build self-esteem through performance, arranging and improvisation. Her SAA registration is in Piano School Books 1 through 4. A professional accompanist, she most enjoys performing in ensemble.
