More about me:
I love to teach and have been doing so since 2006.  My studio has a warm sense of community.  Most of my students study with me for many years (many from age 5-18).  I am equally as comfortable with young beginners as I am with advanced students.  My goal is for students to appreciate music, to take ownership of a rewarding skill, and to learn patience with the learning process, breaking complex problems down into step-by-step sequences.  I believe firmly in the potential of my students and teach a growth mindset, with emphasis on progress rather than perfection.
