Mrs. TawnaLyn Mangelson

TawnaLyn Mangelson earned a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Violin Performance. Mrs. Mangelson then earned a Master’s degree in Violin Performance and Suzuki Violin Pedagogy from the University of Maryland. While at the University of Maryland, she was under the tutelage of Ronda Cole. She also took teacher training classes from John Kendall. Mrs. Mangelson has now been teaching violin privately, employing the Suzuki method, for seventeen years. Many of her former students have gone on to major in music in college, including renowned music schools such as Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She loves music and teaching, and seeing the joy that children find in learning. Mrs. Mangelson and her husband are the proud parents of three children.
