Mrs. Suzanne Brookes Rickman

Suzanne Brookes Rickman got her B.M. in violin performance from Chicago’s DePaul University in 1989. She is the founder and director of the Homewood-Flossmoor Suzuki Strings. She has taught at the American Suzuki Institute, the Atlanta Suzuki Institute, the Memphis Suzuki Institute, the Chicago Suzuki Institute and the Intermountain Suzuki Strings Institute in Utah. Suzanne was on the faculty of the Western Springs School of Talent Education for 13 years, has been a member of the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra since 1995, and remains a free-lance violinist and violist in the Chicago area.
