Guitarist of Mexican origin graduated from the Faculty of Music of the UNAM (National University). He has received 5 government fellowships for the realization of concerts and record productions. His efforts have centered on the dissemination as well as creation of new works for that instrument; as a result over a dozen of pieces have been premiered and included in 4 record productions.

He received his musical education from professors Juan Carlos Laguna, Federico Bañuelos and Guillermo González Phillips in Mexico, and from Gerardo Arriaga and Carmen Ros in Spain.

He is recipient of two first prizes in national chamber music competitions (Third Internal Competition of Chamber Music of the National School of Music and the First Competition of Ensembles of the Hellenic Cultural Center) and has been invited as concert performer in over twenty specialized festivals in Mexico as well as Peru and Rumania.

He has appeared on radio and television programs of the most prestigious broadcasting networks, presenting live concerts, recordings and interviews on his work.

He is a founding member of the guitar and harpsichord duo Tañer Pulsando and the Mexico City Guitar Quartet, which national critics consider to be the best among its genre.
