Sarah began Suzuki piano lessons at age 6 in Upstate New York and graduated Book 7 when she was 16. She traveled to Argentina to learn Spanish, and was able to teach piano lessons in Panama during a summer internship program. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology with a piano emphasis in 2013 and began to pursue studying the Suzuki method.

Sarah is fluent in English and Spanish. She has a passion to teach children the joys and confidence that learning an instrument can bring.

Besides teaching, Sarah enjoys accompanying her church as a pianist, and also provides music for weddings with Monaliza Duo (violin and piano) . She loves to spend time exploring Chicago with her husband, dance bachata and salsa, play classical guitar, bake, and knit. She received her Suzuki training at the Holy Names University in Oakland, CA, studying under Caroline Fraser.
