Sarah Lindquist teaches Suzuki violin, viola, group classes, coaches chamber music, and directs the Vivace string ensemble at the Wheaton College Community School of the Arts.

Lamar Blum and Michael McLean were her childhood Suzuki instructors followed by David Reimer, Jean Hove, and Lee Joiner. Her experience included coordinating the Chamber Ensemble Program at Wheaton College Community School of the Arts, teaching Parent Education, instructing adult beginner string class, directing public school orchestras, and Musikgarten teaching and administrating in the Chicago area. Continuing education has been with William Preucil Sr., Alice Joy Lewis, Rebecca Sandrok, Marilyn O’Boyle, Nancy Jackson, Ed Sprunger, Rick Mooney, Tanya Carey, Pat D’Ercole and Carol Dallinger. Ms. Lindquist instructs all levels and ages with a focus on excellent technique and expressive musicality. Her students have achieved honors including recital performances at Suzuki Institutes, featured soloists for the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra and CSA Concerto Concert, auditioning into SAA Youth Orchestra, SAA Chamber Ensemble, All State Honors Orchestra, IMEA Orchestra, first and second prize in Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Music Club contest, placing in Granquist and IGMSA/IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest. Other Suzuki involvement includes being a clinician at Suzuki workshop and presenting at the biennial Suzuki Association of the Americas conference (featured on the SAA’s website.)

Additionally, Sarah enjoys freelance performing and spending time with her husband and two young sons. She is a Suzuki parent and teacher to her sons.
