Mr. Samuel Vieira Pontes

Samuel Pontes holds a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from State University of Campinas (Campinas, Brazil) and a double major master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy and Piano Performance from Temple University (Philadelphia, USA).
He is co-founder of SEMEA Centro Suzuki de Educação Musical (2019) and as a professor/teacher he has over a decade of experience working with beginners up to undergraduate students: Faculdade do Cone Leste Paulista (Brazil, 2015-17), Escola Ritmo (2009-11 and 2013-15), private studio (2007-2019), Piano Monitor at Temple University (2012), and Unicamp (2010).
Samuel has performed in Brazil, USA and Argentina both as soloist and chamber musician. He also enjoyed many festivals as the Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão 2014 (OSESP), VII Encontro de Pianistas (Tatuí, 2014), Festival Música nas Montanhas, (Poços de Caldas, 2014-15, as accompanying pianist). He also integrated many groups as the Duo Premier (piano and guitar) and the Duo SamPa (piano four hands).
