Mr. Samuel Happeny

Samuel Happeny has been teaching music since 2015. His students range in age from four to adults, but he has particular experience in teaching beginner level children. In order to bring out the maximum potential of the student, Samuel believes that it is the duty of the instructor to tailor their teaching method to the needs of each individual with an engaging and accommodating environment. Samuel graduated from University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music with his bachelor’s in Cello Performance in 2021. Other than teaching, Samuel is a very active cellist, recording for Cincinnati hip hop groups and award winning movie scores. Samuel has toured twice now with the “Eagles” in Florida for their 2022 and 2023 tour, and has performed and is on the sub list for the Venice Symphony. In 2023 alone Samuel is playing for three different professional musical productions. These are “Spring Awakening”, “Daddy Long Legs”, and the world premiere of the musical “Indigo” with the Human Race Theater Company in Dayton, Ohio.
