Ribal El Kallab is a native of Lebanon and began first studying the Violin at the age of 5 at the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music. A few years later, he discovered the Cello and fell in love with the instrument. To him, the sound of the Cello was one that resonated with immense emotion. He enrolled in the Cello classes of several notable Cellists including Dr. Olga Miziuk.
In addition to his Masters’ degree in Musicology, he received his Diploma in Cello and started a career in Cello performing with the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, and participating in several Cello workshops abroad in Europe.
Ribal also received a Diploma in Ear Training and Aural Skills (Solfeggio) and taught Music Theory classes at the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music.
Ribal discovered first the Suzuki method in 2017. This teaching philosophy was an eye-opening experience to him as it introduced to the learning process significant dimensions that traditional studio classes in music ignored. This discovery led him to enroll in his first Suzuki workshop in 2022.
