Rebecca Schloneger is a Suzuki teacher at three different colleges in the Greater WIchita (KS) area.
She is a current member of the first violin section of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, and is a section player with the Music Theatre of Wichita Orchestra, and the Newton Mid-Kansas Symphony Orchestra, where she serves as Principal Second Violin. She has taught with the Bethel College Academy of Performing Arts since 2001, and served as Director of the Suzuki School Division which employs seven strings teachers in violin, viola, and cello. She is a member of the Sunflower Trio, a chamber group comprised of her husband, Matt Schloneger, tenor and his uncle, Ken Rodgers, piano. She is also adjunct violin instructor at both Hesston College and Tabor College. She has previously held the position of Instrumental Music Director at Hesston College, which involved conducting the Hesston College Chamber Orchestra.
