Rebecca Schloneger has been a Suzuki teacher for 22 years and is a public school orchestra teacher.

She is a member of the first violin section of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, a section player with the Music Theatre of Wichita Orchestra, and principal 2nd violinist in the Newton Mid-Kansas Symphony Orchestra. She has taught with the Bethel College Academy of Performing Arts since 2001, and served as Director of the Suzuki School Division at a nonprofit school that offers dance, music lessons, and community outreach through the arts. She is a member of the Sunflower Trio, a chamber group comprised of her husband, Matt Schloneger, tenor and his uncle, Ken Rodgers, piano. She was adjunct violin instructor at both Hesston College and Tabor College. She has previously held the position of Instrumental Music Director at Hesston College, which involved conducting the Hesston College Chamber Orchestra.

Her current job is as an orchestra director in the Newton (KS) USD 373 School District in Newton, Kansas. She is part of a fine arts team that teaches Grades 5th through 12th.
