Miss. Rebeca Miroslava Hernández Saavedra
Piano, Violin, Recorder Teacher
I started my musical studies at the age of 4 playing recorder and piano.
At the age of 10, I entered the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey, starting the Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Execution and choosing the violin as a complementary instrument. In 2007 I started my Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at ITESM pausing on music.
In 2020 I resume my piano studies with the teacher Lorena Leal Isida and that is when I start to get involved in the culture of the Suzuki methodology. The teaching approach and the positive impact it had on the students and also on their families piqued my interest to take the Suzuki Philosophy course that same month.
I found the experience so rewarding that it inspired me to listen to my true inner calling and pay attention to what really make me happy, so I decide to dedicate myself completely to music professionally.
Since then I have had the opportunity to apply this methodology, training myself and collaborating in CALI Suzuki Music Education, my purpose is to continue learning and impacting more children and families by contributing to Dr. Suzuki’s vision.
