Rachelle was given her violin at the age of 8 for a Christmas present. She studied 9 years with Linda Fiore through the Suzuki levels as a student and then took 2 more years to complete her teacher training. She was in charge of the Suzuki String Community Music School Program at West Chester University, PA. and was a Suzuki clinician in New Jersey, Delaware, & Pennsylvania while attending the University as a Vocal Performance Major.
She went on to pursue her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Where she held many leading roles and had terrific success in Vocal competitions State/Region and Nation wide. Rachelle was hired on the faculty of the University of Tennessee’s vocal department where she taught for 8 years. She was able to study abroad with the Met Young Artist studio and was named the “Voice of the New Millennium” in 2000, and given the opportunity to sing in Carnegie’s Weill Hall. Through all of her vocal study and career, she has always maintained her private Suzuki studio, which has now become the Bravura Music Academy. And was able to add Augusta, Georgia and Ogontz, New Hampshire to her list of teaching workshops/ Institutes.
She currently resides in Knoxville, as the soloist for the First Church of Christ Scientists, she is a homeschooling mother of 2, co- director of the Knoxville Area Suzuki CoOperative and director of the Bravura Music Academy.
