Mrs. Rachel Schnackel

Rachel Fellows-Schnackel is from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Rachel began Suzuki violin lessons at a very young age with her mother, Suzuki Teacher Trainer Esther Fellows. Rachel is a registered Suzuki Teacher with training in 10 books and Every Child Can by the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA).
Rachel holds a Bachelors and a Masters in Music Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) where she studied with Kevin Lawrence. In 2015, she receivedher Artist Diploma studying with teacher Soh-Hyun Altino atthe Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music at the University of Memphis.
Rachel has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant to Kevin Lawrence: Chair of UNCSA School of Music String Department and apprentice to Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Trainer Esther Fellows.
Rachel manages to remain actively involved in her music community performing across Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, and Mississippi with ensembles such as the Memphis, Arkansas, and NashvilleSymphony. When not performing in the classical circuit, Rachel enjoys playing with her jazz trio.
