Paul Huppert (violinist) has performed on the front stands of a dozen different orchestras, and participated in the summer festival orchestras of Grant Park, Aspen, Chautauqua and numerous others. His performing experience spans 40 years, beginning at the age of nine when he began appearing as a soloist with orchestra, and in recital. Paul studied at both Indiana University, and the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where he was the recipient of the Emil Hermann award in violin.
Paul Huppert’s teaching expertise encompasses Suzuki Method, Mark O’Connor, RCM. Styles include classical structure techniques, folk (fiddling) classical, pop/rock also electric violin.
In his performing life, Paul Huppert has appeared on stage with diverse performers such as Yo-Yo Ma, Dave Brubeck, Mannheim Steamroller, Linda Ronstadt, Moody Blues, and countless others. Performing everything from early baroque, to modern day styles on both acoustic violin and electric, he is one of the most versatile musicians on the scene today.
As an educator, Mr. Huppert has a student base covering every state in the US and over 50 countries worldwide. His methods of communication consist of a downloadable video format, as well as Skype instruction. In addition to this, Paul maintains three live studios across Illinois.
