Patrick Hartson is currently accepting students of ALL AGES in person or online at AFFORDABLE RATES, from young beginners to adult learners, and can offer COLLEGE CONSULTATION and AUDITION TRAINING to high school students who are looking to pursue a degree in music!

Patrick Hartson is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in cello performance. He is currently a Master’s student at DePaul University and principal cellist of the DePaul Concert Orchestra.

In addition to his classes at DePaul, Patrick has performed as soloist with the Gaylord Symphony Orchestra, held a section cello position with the Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra, and received an honorable mention in the final round of the 2017 Western Michigan University Concerto Competition. He is also a member of “The Founding,” a touring progressive-folk group, where he records and performs regularly on both cello and guitar.
Patrick is a Teaching Artist at Spry Elementary, Senn High School, and Kenwood Academy. He hopes to continue his work in cello pedagogy, while also maintaining an active performing career.
