Teaching Viola and Violin in Rochester, MN.

Angel Falú-García started playing Viola at age thirteen while attending the Puerto Rico Youth Symphony Orchestra Program in San Juan. At age sixteen he is accepted into the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music Pre-College Program to study with Guillermo Figueroa and Jaime Medina. Falú has performed in Master classes for Kimberly Fredenburgh, David Aaron Carpenter, Martha Baldwin, Kyla Pots, Katherine Murdock, Steven Tenenbom and Patricia McCarty. He has also performed in chamber master classes for members of the Emerson String Quartet, the Orion String Quartet, Ethel, Laura Silverman, members of the Silk Road Ensemble, Eric Larsen and Jospeh Silverstien among others. As a member of the piano quartet “HAMIWAGFALEDD”, he won the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs and Collaborative Piano Competition at The Central State University.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Akron, he taught violin and viola to non-music majors and worked as a manager for The University of Akron Symphony Orchestra. As a member of the Graduate String Quartet of the same institution, Falú performed many concerts for Akron, Ohio community schools.

Mr. Falú holds a B.M. in Viola Performance from the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music and a M.M. from The University of Akron where he studied with Alan Bodman.
