Violinist Natalie VanBurkleo-Carbonara is a native of the Twin Cities and has performed as an orchestral musician, chamber musician and soloist throughout the US and abroad.  Natalie teaches violin and viola at the Hastings Arts Center, maintains private studio locations in Minneapolis & Bloomington, co-directs the Nova Classical String Program and is the founder/director of both the Summit Music Series and the Twin Cities Violin Choir.   Natalie freelances throughout the Twin Cities and manages Arioso Strings. Prior to living in MN, Natalie lived in New Orleans and played with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and was the director of the violin prep program at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. Natalie attended Louisiana State University and the University of Minnesota. Her most influential teachers and mentors include Mary Bahr, Mark Bjork, Kevork Mardirossian and Sally O’Reilly.
