Nadia Petriw began Suzuki violin lessons at the age of four in her hometown of Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. She also began piano lessons around seven years of age and studied French horn in band throughout high school. Playing with ensembles such as All-City Band, Whitehorse String Ensemble and the Fiddleheads, Nadia grew to love all genres of music and continues to enjoy teaching and sharing her joy of music. Nadia is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance at Queens College, Aaron Copland School of Music. She hopes to one day help others with music therapy and play in a professional orchestra.
