Ms. Miriah Phelps

Miriah grew up in Anchorage and Homer, Alaska, where she spent her formative years playing in various orchestras and string camps. She now plays with the Super Saturated Sugar Strings; a constantly evolving musical project in Anchorage, Alaska.
She currently teaches violin, viola and guitar at her home studio in midtown Anchorage. She loves putting on recitals, getting people to play together and enjoys teaching a variety of styles. She has taught fiddle and guitar at the following music camps around Alaska: Alaska City Folk Arts, Cordova 4H Music Camp and Dancing with the Spirit. She also teaches the after school Suzuki Violin Club at the Rilke Schule German Charter School in Anchorage.
