Michelle Ferry Williams began her cello study in the Suzuki method at age three and most recently studied with Professor Bion Tsang at the University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance. In pursuit of combining two of her favorite things: music and the elderly, Michelle went on to receive a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Utah.

Michelle most recently was the principal cellist of the Rockbridge Symphony Orchestra, and a former member of the Orchestra at Temple Square, which performs weekly with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She has been able to record five CD’s with them including “Homeward Bound” featuring Bryn Terfel on recording label Deutsche Grammophon. Besides teaching her cello students and gigging, she enjoys yoga, watching “The Office” with her husband, crafting with her 6-year old daughter Adeline, playing catch with her 3-year old son Christian and chasing around her 18-month old Ezra.
