“My teaching is based on the philosophies and techniques taught by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. I believe that every child can learn music with the right combination of a dedicated teacher and supportive parents. As a young child, I was taught by a wonderful violinist who studied with Dr. Suzuki himself; the things I learned from her and that I have learned from certified Suzuki teacher trainers have enabled me to help young students succeed in learning to play this difficult instrument. Because every student is a unique individual, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning the violin. I believe it is important that I tailor my teaching to each student’s specific needs and challenges.”
