Mia Bella D'Augelli

Mia Bella D’Augelli has been teaching private and small group lessons since 2016, as well as being a performing violinist, chamber music coach, and composer. She works with students of all ages and levels who want to be part of a supportive musical community that embraces creativity.

Mia Bella provides a framework for open communication with families and strives to make sure that learning music never feels like a solitary endeavor. Lessons include a variety of songs, tone and technique exercises, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and rhythm games, which bounce off each other to form organic growth of musicianship.

Mia Bella uses the grounding philosophy of the Suzuki Method, Talent Education, the idea that we are not born with talent but rather develop it within a nurturing, immersive environment. She is there with her students and families every step of the way, preparing them with a confident technical foundation for at-home practice as well as group playing and performing starting from the very beginning.
