Melody L. Stevens

Melody Stevens is a UNT graduate currently teaching orchestra and mariachi in Richardson ISD. She is a member of the Suzuki Association of the America’s, the American String Teacher’s Association, and Texas Music Educator’s Association. She has played the violin for seventeen years and has taken secondary courses in cello and piano. She is registered for Suzuki violin book one through three, and teaches violin, cello and viola. Melody has taught group classes at her university’s String Project as well as at Founders Classical Academy, and Harvest Christian Academy. She performs in the Ponder UMC church band regularly and conducts the church choir. She is acquainted with numerous different styles of playing, and performs often with her university’s concert orchestra, choir, and local bands.
