Melodie Tunick-Zide has a master’s degree in violin performance from California State University at Northridge. She has been teaching the Suzuki violin method for over thirty years. She studied pedagogy with many renowned Suzuki pedagogues such as Idell Low, Elizabeth Mills, Lorraine Fink, and Ted Brunson. Melodie is currently one of the co-directors director of the Suzuki Music Program of Los Angeles. The Suzuki Music Program of Los Angeles provides students with the opportunity to participate in group workshop classes, group performances, and solo recitals. Therefore her students are receiving a complete Suzuki experience. She teaches both violin and viola. Melodie teaches students of all ages and abilities from pre-twinkle to post Book Ten levels.
