Maureen Nilsen is an active teacher and performer in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
Ms. Nilsen has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and a Master of Arts in Music Psychology from the University of Sheffield in Sheffield, UK. She presented her findings on the prevention of performance anxiety through the Suzuki Method at the Twelfth Annual Research Symposium on Talent Education at the national conference in May, 2014.
She teachers private and group lessons in Richfield, Bloomington, Burnsville and St. Paul. She is accepting students at St. Joseph’s School of Music, Minnesota Valley Conservatory and privately in her home.
